Since the dawn of time, it seems, the bad guys have always tried to figure out a "better" way to overcome the good guys, and in the process, they have become quite imaginative and resourceful. I recall during the riots at TSU in '68 when we found some very ingenious shotguns...capable of being concealed in one hand! A 4" piece of 3/4" galvanized pipe with a nipple, and a roofing nail drilled thru the center of the nipple. a 12 ga. shell in the pipe, screw the nipple on, and then slam the nipple end against a hard surface. BOOM! Then there was the Coke can gas gun. Two soft drink cans, a handful of pebbles, marbles or nails, 3 drops of gas, and a very effective and damaging short range weapon.
